The first DVD teaser trailer for The Grudge 3. This trailer was made early in the process of finishing the film and was edited with footage that had not been color corrected, which is why the footage looks too bright and washed out. A new version may be forthcoming now that we are completely done with color correction, etc. 

Splinter Podcast #5 is out, and has some big clips, and some big news!

If you aren’t able to get to one of the four cities where the film opens in theatres on Halloween, find out how you can see the movie RIGHT NOW, without waiting for DVD.

The Splinter trailer is now available to share and embed in high quality from Vimeo. This provides far superior picture quality to YouTube, and even has the option to view the trailer in full HD.

The official Splinter trailer just launched over at Apple as an exclusive, featured trailer in all formats, from iPod to HD.  I think it’s pretty awesome, and I hope you do too.  Please share your thoughts on the trailer with by posting on the wall at the Facebook Page or leaving a comment at the MySpace Page.

Shea Whigham, one of the leads in Splinter just left me this voicemail message. Goes to show, even the stars of the movie are eager to get a glimpse of what came from all their hard work. 

All I can tell you, and Shea is that it’s coming.

Trailer Coming Soon

I know from the messages I have been getting on MySpace and Facebook, and everywhere, that you guys are dying to see a trailer for Splinter. And up until today, I have been saying “Me too!”

But the marketing guys finally let me have a peek at what they’re working on… and man, they have done a great job. I’m super excited! 

I really wish I could show it to you right here, right now, but they still have some finishing touches to do before it can be released into the world. 

But when it’s ready, the first place I am going to post the news is on the Facebook page. So head over to Facebook, go to the Official Splinter Page and click the little “become a fan” button to sign up as a fan. You’ll be amongst the first to know when the trailer comes out. 

Not on Facebook?

Firstly, life is too short not to be on Facebook.  Secondly, don’t worry there will be frequent updates on all the Splinter news pages, including MySpace, and this blog. But I am basically updating all this stuff myself so I simply had to make a choice about which to do FIRST, and I chose Facebook.
