Respected London newspaper the Daily Telegraph reviewed the recent DVD release of Splinter in their April 4th issue.
They gave the film 4 stars, and ended with one of the highest compliments I can imagine for a movie that I made as an homage to The Thing, Assault on Precinct 13, Alien, Dawn of the Dead, and countless other “siege” type horror/thrillers of that era.
“The actors - particularly the charmingly brainy Costanzo - do a great job figuring out their dilemma and actually making us care. This is a film to watch more than once, an unpretentious piece of work that John Carpenter would have been proud of.” - Tim Robey
