Gotta Love Slow-Mo

So, I was listening to Christopher Nolan talk about his new film Inception on KCRW’s The Treatment last week, and was surprised to learn that he hadn’t used slow-mo in any of his film before this one. His reasoning was sound, and I must say I loved the way he used it in Inception. As my my old friend Tim Epps would say… “It was lyrical”.

Anyway, a friend sent me a link today to a music video for Dancing Pigeons’ Ritalin (thanks Derek). I can watch more or less anything in slow-mo, but who doesn’t love slow-mo fire?

If you’re interested in the technical stuff, there’s an artical about the piece on Engadget you might want to check out.

It reminds me of course of the excellent Wax video by Spike Jones, below.

Anyway, enjoy!
